High Energy Materials
The subjects the journal covers is determined predominantly by papers presented at the International Scientific Conferences „IPOEX”, which have been held annually in June in Ustroń, Poland, since 2004. The aim of the conference organizers has been the strengthening of the domestic platform for scientists engaged in various aspects of explosives, whether theoretical, practical, laboratory or industrial scale. In the meantime, an interdisciplinary trend of regarding explosive materials as a means of obtaining high energy effects, has gained importance. In this regard, generally, the question of which, if any, explosive is used has diminished with the utilization of the released energy, and the way that energy is absorbed, becoming more important. It would be a shame not to utilise such a valuable means of contact between explosives scientists and research workers with persons who do not work with explosives but are engaged in the use of high energy phenomena.
